That's a good collection...

I wonder if he was making mental notes during the heart attack, so he could
work it into his next act.

I'm sure his thoughts during the incident were more along the lines of
"Oh crap,heart attack!".

went out with at the most was a "Oh shit,I'm fucked". I never got to see
him live...was supposed to be in New England next month for a few shows to!

I've seen him on stage multiple times, but not by choice. I was
chained and dragged. I believe the very last time I saw him, possibly
10 years ago, more than 1/2 of the people were walking out on him
while he was performing and he got really ticked off and began to
scream and rant at the entire audience for about 30 minutes. He
stormed off stage when 2 large men walked out to escort him off of the
stage, for about another 30 minutes. Being chained up, I couldn't get
out in time, so I had to watch the entire show. I left the theater in
shackles whispering, never again, never again...

I think you got lucky this time, Bob. Ordinarily, Daisy is a
ass-kissing celebrity-lover of the highest order. This was a rare
negative celebrity post on her part, Bob. Not sure it was a negative
post anyway, except for being physcially chained. Perhaps being
chained is a metaphor for being dragged to the show by Carlin-loving
associates and forced to watch it start to finish, even expected to
applaud and give standing "O"s at just the appropriate time. It
really is ugly to see comics do poorly and blame the audience. It's
sick, like most comics.

That's sort of how I thought of him. He used to be funny but he's been
too bitter and angry to be funny for the past 15-20 years.

His take on suicide was hilarious... We all become bitter and angry when we
get old. Life sucks.

I was never annoyed by Carlin being bitter and angry, only that
it was an act, and it became all too obvious the older he got. He
wound up searching for things to be angry about. Some of the earlier
pun oriented stuff was lousy too, such as harping on oxymorons such as
"jumbo shrimp". I actually liked Carlin (even though I didn't know
him personally), I just didn't care for his act. I don't think he did
either. And it showed. At least to me it did.

Jersey Girl... I've not seen it. I think it's the one where Affleck hooked
up with J-ello. Carlin did at least a couple Kevin Smith movies. He was
